Dr. Max Johnson Hello, my name is Dr. Max Johnson. I was born right here in Twin Falls. I've always considered this "home" and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. My family members are all close by and being near them has always been important to me.

I graduated from Twin Falls High School and had plans to start my chiropractic education right away. As things sometimes turn out, my plans changed. I became very interested in computers and spent the next 8 years doing programming. Although I enjoyed what I was doing, I knew it wasn't what I wanted to do with the rest of my life.

Finally I decided to take the plunge and go back to school full-time. I attended the College of Southern Idaho and Boise State University. Then it was off to chiropractic college. I decided on Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. I liked what the school had to offer and was excited to spend 4 years in a different part of the country.

I enjoyed my time in Iowa. Although my class schedule was very demanding (usually 30 or 31 credit hours at a time), I was able to do some sight-seeing occasionally. Chicago was only a couple of hours away, caught a couple of ice hockey games in Wisconsin, went to St. Louis and lots of other places. I also made some really great friends there. The only problem now is that we all live so far apart. We do manage to get together occasionally at a seminar.

I worked hard at school and graduated Summa Cum Laude. I was also offered a teaching position at the college during my last semester. I taught a neuroanatomy class. It was a great experience and gave me a whole new respect for teachers!

After graduation it was back to Twin Falls for me. I really missed the mountains. I enjoy camping and fishing, and the summers just weren't the same without a couple of trips to Stanley.

airplane I'm a licensed pilot and certified scuba diver. As I like to say, I'm legal in the air, on the ground, and under the sea. I love to travel and see new places. I enjoy spending time with my family whether on vacation or just sitting at home playing games or watching a video.

I'm very excited to be practicing here in my home town. I am also very happy with my decision to become a chiropractor. It is very gratifying to see patients get relief from painful conditions they have had for years and perhaps thought they would just have to "learn to live with it".

I am looking forward to meeting you and hope that together we can find the cause of your pain or discomfort and finally get it resolved. My treatments are very gentle. I've even had patients get so relaxed that they've actually fallen asleep during the treatment!

If you're in pain, or just looking for a way to live a healthier life, please call my office today.
